My Vision StatementI will strive to find innovative ways to promote growth in each student; mentally, physically, socially, and emotionally. It is my goal to educate each student not only academically, but also with the life skills required to provide them with the information needed today, and tomorrow. It is necessary to create a learning environment for each student that is innovative, respectful, and inspirational. I will provide collaboration with other educators, staff, parents, and community members, ensuring an excellent education for each student. I believe it is important to continue with my own education as a life long learner so I can provide solid instruction and prepare students for their future. |
About meI grew up in and graduated from Ravenna High School, and went on and received an Associate Degree in Business from Kaplan University. After working in the business field, I returned to school. In 2005 I graduated from Peru State College, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education. In December of 2012, I received a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Development from Doane University. In May of 2020, I completed my Chadron State College requirements and received a Master's Degree in School Counseling. I couldn’t be happier to be teaching at Centura Public Schools. I truly have #CenturaPride!
In my free time I enjoy reading, golfing and watching almost all sporting events. Craig and I have three kids: Jake, Taylor, and Jackson. Craig owns Flashbacks Catering in Ravenna. He is doing something he loves to do, prepare meals for others. He is also employed as a Maintenance Coordinator at KAAPA Ethanol Plant where he gets to use the left-side of his brain.
